Memorial Day Weekend

Here are the girls practicing laying their sleeping bags. This is the first time that Avery and Adisynne have been in them. Adisynne was a little afraid at first. I think she thought she had to be zipped up all the way into it.

We camped at Hidden Ridge RV park in Martin.

Here is Adrienne playing tug of war. It was Girls vs. Boys, and the girls won every time they played!

Adisynne enjoying a smore by the campfire. She wouldn't share with Daddy!

I love this picture!

My little maniac!

Having a fabulous time.

Avery has no fear and for 17 months old could do everything that the older kids were doing.

Daddy and Adisynne going down the slide. Adisynne is very cautious about new things at first, but she ended up loving the playground.

Adrienne had Kayla come out and stay Saturday night with us. They had a great time!
We had a wonderful time camping, and all the girls had a great time. We are all looking forward to camping again over Adrienne's birthday!

Josh's proudest Adisynne moment to date!

Adisynne and Josh went fishing a few times over Memorial Day Weekend. She kept screaming "HUGE one". She even had a small crowd of people watch her catching fish. Joshua was in heaven. As you can tell from the video, Avery was not fond of the fish.

Mothers Day 2009

I have to say that I had probably the best Mothers Day ever this year. We spent all day together and had a very good time. We headed out Geocaching which has been our newest thing to do together as a family. We had picnic lunch and this is what was left of it! Although I ate a turkey sandwhich with sand in it, it was still nice to have lunch outside together!

Avery.

Adisynne looking for boats!

"Look mom, I found rocks!"

My attempt at getting a good picture of the three of them in front on Lake Michigan.
Adrienne found this rock shaped like a heart and gave it to me. She is the sweetest thing!

Adrienne actually had her feet in the lake! BRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Avery throwing rocks.
Adisynne looking at rocks. She loved throwing them into the water.

Giving me a fake smile so that I will stop taking her picture.
Adrienne sitting on a dune.
Heading out to another beach.
This swing set had so much sand blown up underneath it that the bottom of the swing almost touched the ground. The swing had been wound up over the top bar a few times too.

Avery having her turn!
Daddy and Adisynne walking on the beach looking for interesting rocks.
Geocache find. This was the first time I found it by myself. Josh has such a good eye its hard to find things before him.

All the girls by the cache.

This is the wall that it was in.

The view from where it was.
Box of goodies. You can take something as long as you leave something in its place.
Adrienne took an air freshner.

We stopped at a park to get some energy out.
Avery had climbed all the way to the top of this jungle gym by herself.

She also went down this huge slide by herself. Josh was scared to death.
She, of course, loved every moment of it.

Another geocache find.
Ready to choose something good.
Big red dice was Adrienne's choice!
This is a geocache that you just sign and date. Found in a bush in Lions Park in St. Joe.
And our last find of the day.

It started raining so it was a perfect time to call it quits! We found five caches in total.

Her smile never gets old

This child has so many different smiles, but they all are contagious. You can't help but smile!

Van Andel Museum

We took the kids to the Van Andel Museum in Grand Rapids on Sunday and had a great time!

Adisynne on the big bike!

Adrienne's turn!
Adrienne and Adisynne walking through the old town. It was very cool to look through all the shops.
Daddy, Adrienne, and Adisynne standing in the gun shop. Avery decided she didn't want to be apart of this picture!

Adisynne using the magnify glass to look at old money. She was so sweet. She was having the best time ever with it!

Avery running around with a football helmet on the wrong way. She is such a crazy girl!

Josh wearing a football mask. Adisynne was scared to death of him with it on.

Adrienne with her mask.

Adrienne posing by the city lights.

Avery being Avery.

Taking a rest. We decided to go strollerless, and the little ones did a great job.

Daddy and Adisynne checking out the wetlands.

Adrienne and Adisynne posing by two stuffed moose. They were both a little afraid to sit by them.

Peek a boo I see you!

This is my favorite picture of the day. I LOVE her smile!

Being archeologists.

Adisynne did not like the dinosaurs that moved. She didn't want to take her eyes off of them and look at me for a picture.

Daddy had to write a message on the chalk board while Adisynne was drawing.
