Road Trip!

Where do I start? Josh and I took Adrienne and Adisynne to an Easter festival in a town about 45 minutes away. On the way home, Josh swore he knew a "short cut". He swore he had "good sense of direction", and "I know we are heading North". We ended up on a road that looked like this. It was horrible. We were all laughing so hard, I had to take a picture. I knew that I could in no way describe the condition of this road. You can see that it eventually turns into grass. It had a stop sign at the end of it, and even a street name sign. There were tire marks, so someone must use it. All in all, one hour later and 9 miles in the wrong direction, we found are way back to the freeway

Adisynne didn't seem to mind we were lost. She was in a happy mood the whole time.

Adrienne and her kitty face. She thought all the so called roads we were travleing on were funny.

Splish, Splash!

I receive a weekly email of activites to do with your baby, and the last one was adding bubbles to their tub. She tried to pick the bubbles up and it kept her busy!

Adisynne having fun in her bath tub! She loves water!

Easter Bunny

Ears Pierced!

While these aren't the best pictures, you can see that Adisynne got her ears pierced. She was great during the whole thing.

Rolling Over

BEFORE!!!!!AFTER!!!!

Adisynne rolled over from back to belly this morning. Up until now, I have only seen her do belly to back!!
We are all moved into our three bedroom condo. All the extra space is nice; however, Adisynne did not sleep well in her own room.
Adrienne has the day off school today. We are going to attempt to get everything back to where it is suppose to be. Papa, Nana, Aunt Kimmy, and James are coming to visit next weekend, and then Grandpa Cooper the following week.

Day at the Zoo

The four of us at the lake in Forest Park.

Adrienne outside the insectarium.

Adrienne taking a break in the stroller with Adisynne.

Hard day at the Zoo.

Adrienne making silly faces while waiting for her lunch.

Adrienne and Daddy posing by the hippos.

She did it!

I must take a moment to brag. I have been trying to teach Adisynne to say "mama" for about three weeks, and she has finally said it. I have thought I had heard her say it before, but no one else was around to hear it! It is so cute too, because when she says it once, she says twenty more times after that. Adrienne's first word was "dada". I will start working with her on "dada" now that she has mastered "mama"!!

Winner!!

We went to an ice cream social/book fair at Adrienne's school on Thursday night. She entered a drawing for a $25 gift certificate, and won. She picked out the two books above, donated a book to her class, and picked a book out for a friend!!

I love these little shorts that Adisynne has on. They look just like big kid shorts! She is five months old today!!!

Thanks!!!

Myspace Comments

I wanted to say thanks to Dad, Mom, and Kim for the birthday cards and gift certificates. I will be going shopping tomorrow!!!

Wonderful World of Teething!

It looks like Adisynne will be getting teeth early like her sister did. Adrienne had her first tooth at 5 months old. Her gums are bulging white, and the long nights of waking up crying have begun. You can also see from the picture below that she also chews on anything she can. She usually ends of biting herself to hard and then getting upset.

Bouncing Adisynne

This video is a little hard to see because she is bouncing so fast. It is still cute though!! Just push the play button above!

Cure for an orange face!!!

Kitty kisses!!!

Pretty girl with an orange face!!

Here is Miss Adisynne in one of the dresses that Papa and Nana sent. I think her face is permanently stained orange from baby food!

Cuddles must have been jealous that Adisynne was getting her picture taken. He came up and plopped himself right on her lap.

Fun Photos!

Adrienne loving her sister.

Adisynne riding on cuddles. It amazes me how much that cat will put up with.

Adrienne and Adisynne riding on Adisynne's Tigger toy.

Adrienne took this picture. She thinks Adisynne looks cute in her pj's.

Adrienne saying, "cheese" for the camera! She has two loose teeth right now.

Adisynne was sticking this giraffe in her mouth, and it was just hanging there. We tried to get a picture, but every time we did she would open her mouth and it would fall.

This is Adrienne dancing with Adisynne. They were both having a good time!! Adrienne, Adisynne, and I hung out today, and didn't even get dressed until around 2p. We went to the gym so Adrienne could swim, Adisynne could play with other babies, and I could work out. We are still waiting for daddy to get home to see how his fishing tournament went!

St. Patricks Day

The parade was a lot of fun. We left after two hours and it was only half way done! They had four parachuters jump out of a plane and land in the middle of the parade. It was unbelievable. There was too much going on to take any pictures, but the picture above was taken after we got home.

Josh is fishing in a tournament tomorrow in Lake of the Ozarks (that's the name of the town!). It is about three hours away, but he hasn't fished in along time, so he is very exited.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Date Night

Last night Adrienne and I went on our mother, daughter date. We went to Apple Bees and had dinner, and then went shopping. Old Navy was having such a great sale she was able to get a ton of clothes at a decent price. We had such a great time.

Daddy and Adisynne hung out at home. She still will not take a bottle, but now that she is eating baby food, I can atleast leave her for a little while. She slept from 9:15p-5:20a. I was so excited!!

Tomorrow Adrienne, Adisynne and I are going into St. Louis for the St. Patricks Day Parade. It is suppose to be a HUGE parade with a lot of balloons, bands, and floats. This will be the first time I will be venturing into St. Louis by myself so wish me good luck! I will post some pictures when we get back tomorrow afternoon.

Wonderful Wednesday!!

Adrienne has been trying so hard to get the hang of her Heeley's (the shoe with the wheel inside). She is doing much better. She has bruises all over her elbows and knees though!!!

Today we went to the Post Office, and a woman ask me how old "he" (referring to Adisynne) was. She was decked out in pink from head to toe, and still got called a he. I just don't get it!!!

Relaxing in the Sun

Adisynne and I sat out on the patio this morning, and she loved the sun....

That is until she fell fast asleep!

Such a good BIG sister!

I was running around picking up the house this morning, and Adrienne called me out into the living room. The picture above is what I saw. She has been such a good big sister. I think she is really starting to enjoy her more now that Adisynne is starting to develop her personality.

When we pick Adrienne up from school and Adisynne firsts sees Adrienne, she gets the biggest smile on her face. It is so funny to watch Adisynne when Adrienne is running around playing with her friends. She gets so excited and it is almost like she wishes she could get down and play. That time will be here before we know it. I just hope they will always remain this close.

The Zoo!

The Zoo was so much fun yesterday. Unfortunatly, the camera got left behind! I was so upset. I was so worried about remembering everything for Adisynne, and packing us a lunch, that I walked right out the door without it. Even know there aren't any pictures, I will tell you about it. The St. Louis Zoo is ranked #2 in the country. The best part is, it is free to get into! They have parking lots that charge $10 to park, but you can park along side the parks roads for free!! All of the animals were on display, minus the hippos. That was a bummer for us because we were really looking forward to seeing them. Adisynne enjoyed pulling out the goats hair, and Adrienne loved sliding down a slide that went through an aqarium. With the Zoo only twenty minutes away, I am sure we will be back again soon; and yes, I will remember the camera!!

Other than the Zoo, we hung outside a lot yesterday. The forecast for the next few days looks wonderful, and I can't wait to get some sun. I will make sure to post new pictures soon!!

Both of my babies watching Saturday morning cartoons!!

Adrienne getting ready to take her turn at batting practice.

Adrienne's softball evaulations went well. She did a good job for not practicing since last year. She had a lot of fun, but was exhausted when it was time to go.

We went swimming at the YMCA last night. Here is a picture of Addy in her bikini. All she did in the pool was suck her big toe. She had everyone laughing at her!!

Addy playing with the remote!

Fantastic Friday!

The weather is suppose to reach 70 degrees today! The weekend is also suppose to be wonderful. We are going to the St. Louis Zoo on Sunday. It will be so nice to spend the whole day outside. Adrienne did a great job with her glasses today. Her teacher said she didn't have any problems with her playing with them or keeping them on. Adrienne has her class at the YMCA tonight. They are doing pilates, and have to run 5 laps on the track. Hopefully the pilates will go better than the yoga! Adrienne also starts softball tomorrow. The players meet at O'Fallon Community Park with the Varisty Softball Team. The Varsity players evaluate the kids, so that the softball teams are balanced out. Adrienne is very excited to start playing. Adisynne is getting so big!! It is so weird to be able to sit her on the floor, and to have her be able to play by herself. Once again, she slept for 7 hours 45 minutes last night before waking to eat. She ate, and then went right back to bed until 7:15 am!! I haven't slept this good in months!

Cute Pictures!

I believe that more green beans did get in her mouth than on her, but I think it is safe to say that she did not enjoy them very much!!!!

Josh and I gave Adisynne a bath, and as soon as I sat her in the sink, she put her arms up on the side. She looked like she was kicking back and enjoying her bath!

Here is Adrienne before school this morning. Today will be her first day of wearing her glasses to school. She was very exctied to wear them. Hopefully it stays that way.

Here is Adisynne napping yesterday. She fell asleep on a pillow. I was watching tv and happen to look over, and she was sitting up. She was able to sit herself up because of the way she was laying against the pillow. It really surprised and scared me at first!
