A quick update

I thought I would give everyone an update on what our family has been up to.

Josh loves his job at General RV. He also is counting down the days until Bass Fishing season. He will be fishing a Tuesday night tournament with his friend, Doug. He will also be fishing a few Sunday tournaments with his dad.

I just joined the MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), group at our church. This is a group for mothers with children birth-kindergarten. The first session was great, and it was wonderful to have an adult conversation with other moms with young children.

Adrienne is a very busy little girl. She is participating in Girls on the Run (GOTR) for the first time this year. She attends this twice a week after school for an hour and a half. They obviously run during this time but also this program encourages pre-teen girls to have self respect for themselves and to create a healthy lifestyle. The girls will participate in the Wonder Girl 5K run at Western Michigan University on May 22 at 6:30pm. She is also doing softball again this year. She has practices twice a week, with her first game on April 19. Also, Adrienne and Nana found a recipe for growing Crystals, and Adrienne is going to enter the project in her school Science Fair on April 17. Last but not least, Girl Scouts is also keeping her busy every other weekend. Her schedule has turned me into a taxi!!

Adisynne and Avery get to hang out with other children when I attend MOPS. Their program is called MOPPETS. I think it is good that they have interaction with other children. Adisynne loves playing with the kids, and all the fun toys. Avery also did very well in the nursery. It helped that the same people who take care of her during church on Sundays were volunteering in the nursery during MOPS.

Avery has found her feet and loves playing with them. She is also able to hold a 4 ounce bottle by her self, but still struggles with the weight of an 8 ounce one.

Josh and I are going to his company Spring Dance/Dinner in Detroit next weekend. My parents are coming over to watch the kids for the night. Josh and I are excited to spend time together. We have not been away without children for a year and a half! This will be the first time leaving Avery overnight, but we know she will be in good hands!

Otherwise, we cannot wait until the snow melts so we can get outside and enjoy the outdoors, WITHOUT the snow! We are looking forward to camping this summer. With Josh working at General, we can use a camper for free when ever we like.
